Professor Minerva McGonagall
Chapter 4
17TH OCTOBER
After having roast in the great hall for lunch, I headed up the grand staircase. I only just knew where the Griffindor common room was, but I didn't even know where Ravenclaw's head of house office was. I saw a red haired girl on the other end of the staircase I was on. I almost fell when the case began moving. I recognised the girl. 'H...Hi,' I forgot her name for a second. 'Anna, no...Katie? Oh uh, LILY! Hi, Lily.' I called. She turned around I saw she was stood behind someone. 'Sev look, this is Kaila. Kaila, this is Severus.' she introduced me to the greasy haired boy. She stepped down so she was level with me. 'What do you need?' she askked. 'Help with charms? I'm on my way with Sev, we have room for one more.' she asked me. I felt guilty when declining her invite. 'Actually, I've got a meeting with McGonagall.' I said. 'Oh, I've seen Moony just go in there. So did Padfoot, but he walked out after a second or two.' she replied.
The staircase finally came to a stop against a wall. Lily and I walked back to the top of the staircase, where Severus stood waiting for Lily. Lily pointed up to the next staircase before cupping her hands around her mouth and yelling, 'Padfoot! Down here! Can you show Kaila to McGonagall?'
The boy nodded and ran over to the top of the staircase he was on. He carefully climbed onto the railing and slide down. Eventually he was level with us. I looked at him. 'Sirius? Then who is Padf- oh. Your Padfoot.' I looked at him. 'Sure. Oh look Snivillous is here. Hi Lily.' he looked a Severus like he was dirt on his shoe.
After sometime, we arrived at a door. He pushed it open. I walked in. He followed after me. Remus sat on a chair next to an empty on. 'MOONY!' called Sirius as he ran over to Remus. McGonagall shot a glare at Sirius and he backed out of the room, closing the door behind him.
I took a deep breath before speaking. 'You wanted to see me, Professor.' A large knot tied in my stomach. Remus smiled at me, 'Its about our... condition.' he said. Somehow yesterday, I never noticed the large scars across his face and hands. I looked at McGonagall. 'Take a seat.' she said. Remus handed me a mirror from his bag. I looked at him confused for a second before holding it up to my face. I also had large scars on my face. I traced along one with my finger.
