Chapter 2
10TH OCTOBER
Today is almost the full moon! Myrtle says I haven't shut up about it. She's a ghost, many call her moaning Myrtle. I've heard of many creatures who only come out at this time. I really want to see one, from a distance...like opposite ends of the great hall. I must rest, I have transfiguration tomorrow.
12TH OCTOBER
Tomorrow is the full moon!! Unfortunately, all students must be in bed early. I'm slightly disappointed, but maybe its for the best...
After a long potions lesson, I'm finally going to lunch. We brewed a cure for boils. I earned 10 house points for brewing 'a good potion'. Most students lost points. I've decided I'm going to sneak out. One of my roomates has a friend who has a invisability cloak, however I can't recall his name. I think it was James or something. Oh well.
14TH OCTOBER
I can't remember what happened yesterday or the night of the full moon. Something bad must of happened though, because I was in the hospital wing, and a pain came from my arm. I looked down the see a bite mark on my fore arm. I looked around to see Madam Pomfray across the room, helping a tall-ish boy with light brown hair. He was surrounded by three boys, two with black hair the third had blonde hair. Madam Promfay looked back at me before dismissing the three boys. One with short black hair protested against her. 'Mr Black, please leave Mr Lupin to rest,' she said to him.
After a lot of argueing, she let him stay a little longer. She rushed over to me. She helped me to sit up in the bed. Dumbledor, the head teacher and my head of house, Professor Flitwick, walked into the room. I looked at them before Dumbledor sat at the foot of my bed.
After a small explanation, I stared at them in shock. How had a werewolf bitten me? Then it hit me. The ravenclaw student in my dorm had let me borrow the cloak of his friend. I tried looking for an adventure on the full moon. I looked at them. 'Now, we don't know how a werewolf got inside of the castle, dragged you outside then attacked you, but, life isn't fair sometimes.' Dumbledor said.
