Chapter 18

I still don't know what to call the previous chapter, sorry. I will update it when I can, feel free to suggest. I'm running low on ideas, but I will update them if I come up with a name. Also, I know Tonks isn't in the Marauders year, but for easiness, in the book she is.

I looked at my friends. For christmas, Luna had gotten a Niffler. I tried to hide my smile when Goldie climbed onto her head. After we found an empty compartment, I took a seat next to Luna. I must have zoned out, but when I stopped, James, Sirius and Peter were all scrambling to get a chocolate frog. It felt like we hadn't been to Hogwarts for a year.
Luna turned to face the window, before she yawned and closed her eyes to rest. 'HA! MY FROG!' Sirius called with joy as the frog landed in his hands. I placed my finger to my lips and hushed him. Luna needed her rest, I could tell. A young girl with light brown hair knocked on the door. She was wearing Hufflepuff robes, and looked about our age. 'Hi, can I sit here, my friends are all asleep.' she said.
I looked at the girl sat beside me. 'I'm Nymphadora, you are?' she introduced herself.
'Sirius,'
'James, that's Peter, he's asleep though.'
'Hi, I'm Remus.' I said. Luna stirred in her sleep, her head landing on my shoulder. 'This is Luna,' Sirius said, pointing at her. 'You know she prefers Kaila.' I said back to him. 'Yeah yeah, she's asleep. She won't know.' he teased. James reached into his bag for his wand. I knew he was gonna try a stupid charm for his entertainment. He muttered something under his breath then pointed his wand at the Niffler sat on my lap. 'HEY! Leave Goldie alone. Kaila's asleep, so don't hurt her pets.' I told him.
'If you wanna see some real magic, look.' Nymphadora said. We all looked at her. 'Oh and, call me Tonks.' she said. She made her brown hair turn a bright pink, then a dusty violet. 'How'd you do that!?' Sirius said. 'Easy, just picture it then...' she said, her hair turning a baby blue. A laughter filled as James sat in silence, clearly trying to copy her. 'Only kidding. I'm a metamorphmagi, I can do it naturally.' she said.
Luna began to stir once again. Tonks had already left, her friends came to the compartment to look for her. Luna rubbed her eyes and yawned. She sat bolt upright, turning read. 'Oh, I'm so sorry, I didn't know I-' She began. ''Oh, you're awake. It's ok.' I replied.
After a while of silence, I found a book to read, Sirius asked me 'Truth or dare,'.
'Truth...?' I felt awkward. Sirius asks really weird, embarrassing questions, and the dares are even more wild.
'Who's your crush?' he asked. I felt butterflies in my stomach. I've kept it a secret for so long, and I knew everyone would tease me. 'Oh uh... No one,' I answered.
'You sure?' he asked me.
'Yes,' I lied.
'LIAR!' he shrieked.
Sirius turned to look at her. 'Luna,' he began.
'Kaila,' she corrected him.
'Whatever. Luna, truth or dare?'
'Truth,'
'Do you know who bite you, to make you a werewolf?'
I felt a rush of guilt. I remembered the screams as I grabbed a cloak. I remembered the horror as I bite her arm. I ignored James as he started guessing names he thought would be my crush. 'I, I don't know.' she stuttered. 'I did.' I said without thinking. . 'WHAT!' I said, taken back. 'I remember it like yesterday. Of course, I didn't mean to.' I continued. We all fell silent.I knew I would be hexed, or jinxed. She reached into her bag. I was surprised when she pulled out a small vial. 'Here, wolfsbone...wolfsbane, bone. No, bane. Here,' She handed me the bottle. 'What does it do?' I asked as I held it in my hands. 'No clue. I had it on the full moon in December. I felt, human. Not like a wolf, like me.'
