Chapter 17
After a fun christmas holiday, it was time to return to Hogwarts. I looked at the Marauders. For christmas, I had gotten a Niffler.
I named her Goldie, but she was often called Gold. She climbed off my neck and onto my head as I waved good bye to my parents.
I found a compartment, with the Marauders, and took a seat by the window. When the trolley lady came past, I brought a chocolate frog. I opened the box and watched as a chocolate brown frog jumped out. I laughed as Sirius, Peter and James scrambled over each other to try and grab it. It felt like we were second years, returning after the summer. I looked out the window and began daydreaming.
I heard the sound of Sirius and James, followed by the soft snore from Peter. I realised I had been asleep. I rubbed my eyes. Then I realised I had my head on Remus' shoulder. I sat up right at once. 'Oh, I'm so sorry, I didn't know I-' I began as my face turn red. 'Oh, you're awake. It's ok.' he said.
The rest of the ride was silent, besides the occasional snore from Peter. 'So, Moony. Truth or dare?' Sirius said, obviously trying to brake the silence.
'Truth,' he replied.
'Who's your crush?'
'Oh, uh...No one,'
'You sure...'
'Yes,'
'LIAR!' Sirius shrieked teasingly. I looked as Remus turned red.
Sirius looked at me. 'Luna,' he began. 'Kaila.' I said back.
'Whatever. Luna, truth or dare?'
'Truth,'
'Do you know who bite you, to make you a werewolf?'
I froze. I didn't know, but I didn't want to back out, James was already teasing Remus. 'I, I don't know.' I said. 'I did.' I looked at Remus. 'WHAT!' I said, taken back. 'I remember it like yesterday. Of course, I didn't mean to.' he continued. We all fell silent. I could tell he expected me to hex him or something. I reached into my bag. I wanted to grab my wand, but I reached for a small potion vial. 'Here, wolfsbone...wolfsbane, bone. No, bane. Here,' I handed him the bottle. 'What does it do?' he asked as he held it in his hands. 'No clue. I had it on the full moon in December. I felt, human. Not like a wolf, like me.' I said.
