Chapter 14
At flying, I kept looking for the Marauders. After falling from my broom for the fourth time, I saw a glimpse of James' glasses. I waited until class ended until I ran over to James. I rose my wand and aimed it at him. 'James Potter you tell me where Sirius Black is right now.' I growled through gritted teeth. I felt a hand on my arm pull me away from him. I turned around to see Sirius. I aimed my wand at him. I could tell he was confused. He rose his hands as he backed away. 'What is going on?' he asked, looking at James. 'She's pissed at you.' James replied.
'Why were my Ravenclaw robes at the foot of your bed?' I asked Sirius. He looked at me blankly. Then he rolled his eyes. 'Oh yeah, that. Do you like Remus' robes?' he asked me teasingly. 'Only because you took mine!' I said, pressing my wand into his chest. 'So they could be washed, and I didn't do it,' he said. 'Then who did?' I asked. 'There's a reason why many don't sleep in robes.' he said teasingly. I raised my brow questioningly at him. 'You fell asleep, and when me and James woke up, we came down stairs. You were still on the sofa, but your shirt was crumpled from sleeping. So was your skirt.' I lowered my wand, but still hated him for it. I looked at Remus, in hopes he would back Sirius up. 'Don't look at me, you saw I came down after you.' he said.
I looked at Sirius. I swung my arm out and punched his nose. I watched as his nose began to bleed, and I couldn't help feeling guilty. I walked away from the flying grounds and into my common room. I took my usual seat on the floor. I heard a knock on the door, but chose to ignore it. It knocked again, only in a more musical pattern.
I opened it to see a second year Ravenclaw. She wore glasses which magnified her eyes at least 10 times. She smiled at me before inviting herself in. She took a seat on a armchair and started rummaging in her book bag. 'Hi,' she said, poking her head out the bag, a book in her hands. 'I'm Sybill.' she said. I was confused why she knocked on her own common room. I smiled at her.
After a while, I finished my Divination homework. I didn't know how she knew I needed help, but she was pretty good. Some may even say she was better than my professor. I liked her, she was the first Ravenclaw who didn't dismiss me as 'the weirdo'.
