Chapter 12
I felt bad. I didn't want Remus to tell them he was a werewolf. I opened the door to reveal Ravenclaw tower. Even though all the chairs are empty, I took my normal seat on the floor. I watched as the grey lady drifted towards me. She didn't say anything, she just stood beside where I sat. Then she floated over to the door as it swung open. I saw the Marauders. 'You Gryffindors have no business here.' she said. 'Who is it?' I asked her. She turned to look at me. 'Four young Gryffindors.' she replied. 'Coming,' I said. The grey lady stepped back as I opened the door once again. 'What on earth do you four want now?' I asked.
'Geez, it's only been half an hour.' Sirius said. 'So? I was doing my charms homework.' I whisper-yelled. 'Do it at breakfast. Have you got anywhere we can go, in private?' James asked. 'Ugh, follow me.' I replied.
James reached into his bag and threw the cloak at me and Remus. I watched in amazement as Sirius turned into a black dog. 'Woah! How'd you do that?' I asked. 'Animigus,' James replied, then he turned into a stag. 'Like McGonagall won't notice a stag in the corridor.' Remus whispered to me. I turned around to see Peter had disappeared. I looked down to see a rat on the floor. 'Is that?' I asked. Remus nodded. I tried not to squeal. I've hated rats for as long as I can remember. 'Lead the way,' Remus said.
I pushed open the door to the first floor girls bathroom. Myrtle floated down from her window. 'Kaila, you're back!' she said. I waved awkwardly. She looked at James then went into her cubicle, tears in her eyes as she wailed. 'What did you do to her?' I asked James. 'Nothing, just started the 'Moaning Myrtle' thing.' he said.
After hours of chatting and laughing, the occasional visit from Myrtle, i became near midnight. 'You should go to bed,' Myrtle said, then she floated up to her window. 'She's right,' I said. 'What! No, we can stay up all night,' Sirius said. I took James' cloak and wrapped up in it like it was a blanket. 'HEY! That's mine,' he called. 'Let her sleep,' Remus said. 'We should head up,' Peter said. Someone cast 'Wingardium Leviosa' however I couldn't tell who. I felt myself float up. I watched as paintings hissed in the wand light.
