Chapter 2
Equipment- gloves, earmuffs, wand, and sometimes a mask is required for herbology. Also closed toe shoes and an apron may be required.

Over 30,000 witches and wizards have had accidents within the past year, and 61% was people who forgot or neglected their gloves.

The second set of equipment needed consists of dragon dung, mooncalf dung, and centaur tears.

Dragon dung is the stool of any dragon. Used for fertilizer for soil or mixed in with compost to make a more organic fertilizer. It works good because of the acids found in dragons stomachs. The acid breaks down materials to their natural state.

Mooncalf dung is also used as a fertilizer. Better for fragile and sensitive plants. If the soil lacks vitamins or minerals it may not be powerful enough to compensate because of the lack of minerals and vitamins to make the plant grow strong.

Centaur tears are a favorite drink for most plants. That’s why you will find centaurs living by a large amount of healthy flora. More vitamin rich than water which can revive plants that are moments away from death. But some plants find them toxic.
