"Hello?" I called out, "Is anyone there?" 11-year-old Elena has just arrived at Hogwarts. After being sorted into Gryffindor, she is dared by her fellow housemates to venture into the Forbidden Forest. Not knowing the dangers ahead of her, she accepts. But will she make it out alive?

The Forbidden Forest
Chapter 4
It was dark inside the forest; the trees were so dense, I couldn't understand how anything could live in here. I looked down. There was a dirt path, so I decided to follow it.
"Hello?" I called out, "Is anyone there?" Not that I expected to get a response. Instead... silence. "Lumos," I uttered, and a tiny light appeared. I wandered on, holding my wand out, should I need to defend myself.
About an hour later, I was getting tired. Then I heard a call. Not a human call, one from an animal. And they were in danger! I started to run towards the sound. The vines and the branches were crashing through my face, covering so much that I couldn't see. I tripped, and my whole world went black.
