Mathew glared at Alex while she tried looking away. Alex then started laughing as Mathew started putting his middle finger up to her. “I kinda did something to his voice, so he can’t talk until I take off the spell.” Alex said laughing a little. She undid the spell and Mathew smiled to her. Not before glaring at her. “Now that I can talk again, we need to find a way to get Sam back. “ Mathew said as he walked to the lab (the guest room). But time froze and Mathew looked over to crystal. She looked him confused. “Thank you for what you did. You don’t know what it’s like having to worrie about what you are and who you are going to hurt.” Mathew said as he stopped walking. “Your welcome but why did you freeze time now, you could just tell me it later.” Crystal asked. “I didn’t.” Mathew said as time unfroze. Crystal looked at Mathew as he started talking to ace and A.j. “I..I froze t..time?!” She wondered to herself. The day went like that normally went how they did, with max trying to teach crystal and Mathew how to bake (it normally ended with one of them covered in batter), ace, Sirena, Alex, and jack playing soccer outside, and A.j, Kia, and Tyler just hanging out. They had fun with each other and it seems like everything was normal again. But every night crystal, Sirena, Alex, and Mathew would leave the mansion and go somewhere so they could learn how to handle their wolf part and how to NOT break all the windows in the house. Every night they would meet up and just teach and talk. One night Alex and Mathew were walking around their room to find a book. But when Alex found four small pictures that was hiding in the dresser. Mathew walks over and they both looked over the pictures. There were three people in each of the pictures. “Alex, Mathew, and Jayden. March 12, Alex’s 9’s birthday.” Each said in the back. “It’s the pictures I took.” Mathew said as he looked at one closely. A young Mathew and Alex were on it with a boy who looked like a demon with his pitch black hair and his red demon horns, wings, and tail. His eyes were only black and red. He look kinda like Mathew but his hair and eyes were different. Alex was smiling with Mathew smiling as well and holding her and the boy with his eyes closed and his tongue out. That was the first picture, the second was all three smiling with Alex’s arms on both boys. The last one was of Alex’s face covered in cake, Mathew holding napkins and the a boy just standing near the camera with his tongue out and him holding up the peace sign. The fourth was one of Mathew hugging the boy as the boy was glaring at Mathew as he looked like he was trying to get away. Alex was just wiping the cake off her face as she looked like she was talking to them.

~flashback time for the wolf cousins~ “happy birthday to you! Happy birth day to you! Happy birthday dear alex, happy birthday to you!” Two little boys sang. A little girl was sitting near the cake, was smiling and was clapping. “So Alexa what do you want for this year’s birthday” a boy who had black hair asked. “I want to have a good mom and dad..” Alex, the only girl, said. Mathew, the boy who had brown hair just looked sad at her. “Alexie, I am sorry but neither of us can do that..” but Alex just smiled. “I don’t mind! You and Jayden are amazing brothers already!” She told them and she reached over to hug them. Jayden tried to get away but Mathew held him there. They got back in their places and Mathew took a picture of them all.
~flash back time is over~

“Jayden looked cute when he was younger, sadly he’s not like that now.” Alex said looking at it with a blank expression. She walked away from Mathew as he kept looking at the picture. Mathew put the picture back in the dresser, and walked over to Alex. She was at the open window staring at the stars. “Mathew?” Alex said as she looked at him. Mathew’s eyes were dark green when he looked at her. “Yeah Alex?” He answered as he started looking at the stars. “How is Jayden?” She asked, looking at him closely. Mathew looked over to her then the stars. He closed his eyes and when he opened, his eyes were red and black. A smirk came on his face. A deep cold evil voice came out instead of his normal kind warm voice.
“Why, I am doing just fine Alexa.”
