Draco's Note
Chapter 3
Hermione was very nervous as she waited for Draco's response. He could have done ANYTHING with it: ripped it, thrown it in the trash, burned it, or (Hermione hoped this senario most), kept it, ready to respond.
Hermione had to wait five days for anything interesting to happen. This is what happened:
Hermione aced her exams (no surprise there) and (more importantly) she got a note from Draco.
It was the end of Charms. Everyone bustled out, worried by the growing amount of their mountain of homework.
Draco Malfoy got up, and went to the door. But he didn't leave. Strange.
Hermione took her time packing her things.
Harry, Ron, and Ginny waltzed out of the room (Ron was fumbling with his things, trying to stuff everything into his bag at once, so was Harry. Ginny rolled her eyes at the boys).
Everyone was gone. Even Professor Flitwick.
Hermione was alone with Draco.
Again.
"Yes?" asked Hermione.
"H-Here." Draco held out a note.
"Thank you." Hermione took the note and walked past Draco.

As soon as Hermione got to the Common Room, she sat by the fire and looked at Draco's response.
It read:
"Dear Hermione,
Yes, what I said in the Great Hall was true. I like you. I beg you to meet me outside the library tonight at 6:OOpm.
Draco"
