Chapter 2
A mixture is when multiple substances are mixed together with no reaction taking place ( the molecules have not changed in character and all the materials involved in the mixture coexist with one another)

A potion is a magical mixture that includes magical, mundane, and transitional ingredients

Either heterogenous or homogeneous

Heterogeneous is when you can not see the parts of the mixture but they are still able to be pulled apart without a chemical change

Homogeneous is when there is no uniform substance throughout but rather many different components combined together

A compound is a substance that occurs as a result of a chemical reaction of some sort between buffering substances

A pure compound is known as a homogeneous substance

A potion is a mixture of compounds

A solution is a type of mixture which is a smaller amount of a substance known as the solute, spreads through a greater quantity than of another substance known as the solvent

Plasma is the fourth state of matter

Solid, liquid, and gas transformation happen through a shift of energy typically through gain or loss of heat

Sublime is when something turn into a gas immediately

Sublimation-solid-gas
Deposition-gas-solid
Condensation-gas-liquid

Order is important when adding your ingredients. The reaction causes the bonds of molecules to create something new.
