Max and jack ran home with A.j Right behind them.
“Mom we’re home and we have a friend with us so try to keep dad calm.” A.j looked confused but then just smiled. Nikki then came in. (Nikki=mom, James=dad)
“I am glad to see my sons made a friend. My name is Nikki, my husband is James. Max does he know yet?” Nikki asked her son. Max shook his head no then looked at A.j, he started explaining,
“Well this is hard to explain but you must never tell anyone else.” A.j Promised not to tell.
“Well my father is a vampire and as his son I am as well. With Jack...well...we never saw signs but he could be one as well, but for now we think he is human just like our mom.” Max said. Nikki smiled. A.j Looked surprised but then nodded ok. Jack ran in and looked scared.
“Jackwell Michigan! What are you hiding!” Nikki yelled at jack.
“Well mom you may want to look at my teeth...” his mom ran over as he opened his mouth. In his mouth were two fangs. His mother gasped and ran over to her husband and whispered something to him.
“Jack, what..how!...but....we never knew....jack I think I know what happend.” Max said to his brother.
“You’re half human so you can control your fangs faster then me. Just pull your fangs back and your human teeth will go in place. Try to do it” max said as jack’s vampire teeth went back and his normal teeth came back.
“He is half so I don’t think he needs blood, max. His human side can control his hunger and he can receive calcium from the sunlight if he has survived this far without it...“ A.j Suddenly said but then he turned to max.
“Wait. Is it the same with both of you? To where you get calcium from the sun too?” A.j asked.
“Half and half. I can’t stay out in the sun for too long and I will need blood to get some too, but I can also get enough for a hour or so from the amount I stay out.” Max explained. A.j stepped back but nodded.
“Okay then, maybe we can go to the park. I think we have some balls to throw around.” Jack said. the boys nodded and they started walking to the park.(before they left max put on a hat and put on sunscreen, jack just put a hat on)
“Guys do you think Alex may not be human?” Jack asked the others.
“What do you mean?...” A.j Asked.
“Well she can run faster then I can and I am half vampire. And she always covers her eyes but their normal.”
“Well the first one is because she is on a running team so I think the is good at running because of that. And the mask well that I don’t have a explanation on that. But I know she is human. I think...”
“Well max do you like Nina? A.j Likes Sam, and I think I may like Alex a little.” Jack asked his brother. A.j Punched jack and max nodded yes. After laughing at each other they finally got to the park. Jack was about to play when he saw something that hurt his heart and A.j’s heart.
“Umm guys let’s go home. I am not feeling good” Jack asked his friends.
“Well you are looking really pale so yeah let’s go home.” A.j answered. They ran home. But jack never let the thought out of his mind. He tried to forget it but he couldn’t. They got inside and just played games(A.j Won most of them) jack felt better but wanted to talk to someone about it. He looked over at A.j, he was smiling. Jack thought in his mind,
“A.j Is like a brother to me, even though I have max. Max will get mad and A.j Will be so sad. I don’t want any of this happening.” But what he did not know max could understand his brother better then he thought.
“Jack, you ok? Why did you want to go home? You just started staring at something then poof... we had to leave” Max asked his brother. Jack looked at his brother with tears, trying to hold them back, he hated feeling vulnerable. A.j Stoped playing and looked calmly at jack.
“Dude we can tell something is bugging you. You can tell us.” A.j Told jack.
“Well i saw something that could make the both of us sad A.j And I don’t want you sad.” Jack answers.
“Look it is bugging you so bad so just tell us. I can handle it. I don’t want you to keep it in your head.”
“Well when we were in the park I saw..., A.j I saw Sam. Alex was with him and well....th-they were...they were kissing...”
