Chapter 12: Mathew finds them

After days of walking and setting up camps they had no more food or water. “A.j I know that you won’t stop but we are running out of food. We need to find a town.” Alex growled.
“I care about him too, he is my cousin after all. But we need food or we will all be dead!” A.j looked over to Alex and sighed.
“Fine but I’m staying here in case he finds us.” A.j said. The others were find with it but then,
“I feel like someone should stay with him, just to keep him safe. I could stay with him.” Lilith said.
Alex looked like something was suspicious but she went along with it with it. The others left and then something was in the bushes. But Lilith acted like she heard nothing.
“So are you single A.j? I am single.” Lilith said to A.j. A.j did not look over to her but said.
“Yes I am single but I like someone and I know that they like me back.” Lilith tried not to look mad but in her eyes was a person who was screaming in fury. But then something started coming. A.j got scared, Lilith looked like she had a plan but still scared, and the bush keeps moving until.... Mathew started coming out of the bush but as that happened Lilith grabbed A.j and made him kiss her. Mathew got up and looked at A.j with shock. Alex, jack, and max came back without the other girls. Alex looked at Mathew but said nothing. Jack and max knew that this could not be true. “You jerk! You knew I liked you but when I disappeared you went and found a girl friend!” Mathew yelled angrily. Lilith let go of A.j and he stared at her in fury, a fury he had never felt before. He wanted to end her forever. He wanted to KILL her. He then pushed her on the ground. The others stood there confused. “You...You idiot! I should have known you would do this!” A.j yelled at Lilith. She looked sad and confused. “I told you I liked someone else! And Mathew was the guy I liked!” Mathew smiled at A.j and Alex looked like she was going to squeal. Jack and max looked happy and Lilith stood up. “Your gay... WELL HOW DARE YOU PLAY WITH MY FEELINGS WHEN YOU NEVER CARED ABOUT ME!!” She yelled at A.j. Alex smiled evilly and Mathew then looked worried. He ran behind A.j and looked scared. “Honey, I don’t think you know who your messing with, you’re adorable.” Alex said to her. It was true, she really didn’t.
