Chapter 9: part two of mathew’s view

He was sitting down but he was not looking at me. He was looking at medical supplies.
“Ace?” Ace looked over at me.
“ I know your tired but you need to get up.” He said to me as he walked over. I tried to get up again, but still could not. After he finally helped get me up, I could move.
“Hey you ok? While we were walking you passed out.” Ace asked.
“Yeah, I’m alright. Where is sam?” I asked.
“He went to get some things but that does not matter now. I will give you a bag. Then you must run like heck. Just book it. far and fast. Don’t open the bag until you can’t see the town anymore.”
“Got it.”
“I know that your part wolf so I expect you will run fast.” Mathew was shocked. He did not think ace knew.
“Why are you helping me escape? You and sam need me in your plan.” I asked.
“Because it’s not my plan, it’s sam’s. And I don’t want to be in it anymore. I’ll tell him that I went to get some food and while I was gone you escaped. Now here.” He said while giving me the bag. He looked at me with happiness. I hugged him and ran. There was the ace that was my old friend. I ran fast and far. But I caught a glimpse of a familiar face. I saw sam.
