Atlantis Midnight is a beautiful girl who lives in a wealthy family. The family was very happy until one day, news of deaths started happening everywhere. Atlantis's family received a letter that told them they would be next. And at midnight, the house came to live with strange sensations and noises, blood seeping through the wall and haunted screams rattling through the house. A coincidence because the family's name is Midnight, isn't it?

Chapter 1
The sun shone bright and light filled Atlantis's room as she threw open her curtains. Tweets flutter through the air in the semi-quiet morning. Atlantis smiled and flung open her room door, racing out and down the stairs. Her family was already assembling at the table. They looked up as the tall young female entered.
"Atlantis, darling, had a good sleep?" her mom greeted, whisking down a glass of cold orange juice. Atlantis plopped down on a chair and nodded, taking a gulp. "Yeah!"
Her father sat down and turned on the radio. "Lets see what news there are today. The paper hasn't come yet, weird," he said.
The radioman's voice drifted from the radio, sounding panic and frightened, which was very unusual, causing Atlantis to frowned. "He sounds very different today, doesn't he?" Anna remarked first. Atlantis nodded slowly. The family grew quiet as the news was revealed, quite instantly too.
"Today is August 18, 2008. Murders have been happening everywhere in the city now! Recently, a few days ago, on Elmer Street, a dead body have been found in an empty alley with blood everywhere! And a whole family has been killed in an apartment on 427 address, 32 street! What makes it strange and interesting, if one would call it, is that each murder has been happening at midnight, the first one occurring on August 8. Victims have been directed at. Who is this assassin and why is he or she killing all these people?"
