Chapter 4
Savhanna gasped. “Murdered? How?” Andra scooted closer so she could whisper in Savhanna’s ear. “The top floor is a secret room where you need special permission to go inside, and you need an escort. No one would let Marie go in there if she wanted to jump off! So someone must have given her permission and led her to the roof!” She pointed out. Savhanna thought about it. “That does make sense, but what if she jumped off the roof after she was escorted there?” She asked. Andra shook her head. “The Escort would have known and stopped her.”
“Oh my gosh!” Savhanna exclaimed. “Come on!” Andra declared. “We need to tell the Principal, he’s the only one who can help us and stop these murderers before it gets worse!” Savhanna nodded. “Ok, but how are we supposed to talk to him? He is a super important member of the Board of Directors, and we are just thespians. There is no way he would listen to us.”
“I know,” Andra answered. “But we have to try.” Savhanna nodded. “Ok.” That night, when everyone was asleep, Andra and Savannah discussed their plan. The next day, the girls waited until lunch. When the Thespian Bell rang, they snuck up to the second to last floor and knocked on the door. “Hello?” Andra asked. No reply. She knocked louder. “Hello!” Still no reply. Andra looked at Savhanna and nodded. It was time for plan B. “If you are too uncomfortable, you don’t have to stay.” Andra informed Savhanna. Savhanna nodded, “ok. Besides, the teacher will notice we are gone soon. I’ll cover for us.” Andra nodded back at her, “ok.” Savhanna nodded and went towards the exit. “Good luck!” she called. Then she was gone. Andra turned towards the door to the Principal's office. She took a deep breath. “No.” The doors swung open, and she walked inside.
