The long drive

Chapter 2
Emily kept driving hours and hours, her friend lived a long way away from her because she just moved. She had asked where she moved a while back so she found it and texted real quick "I'm coming over". She knew Ivy wouldn't see it until she woke up. Ivy was a deep sleeper and doesn't wake up until she wants to and one time at a sleepover they had when they were younger Ivy slept over at Emily's house and there was a little fire in the kitchen and The smoke alarm went off. Even then Ivy didn't wake up. Good thing her dad got it put out before it got too bad.
When Emily got out of her car to refill the gas for the second time of her long trip to Ivy's house she looked around to see who else was driving at night. She looked around seeing only a few cars pass by every few minutes but then saw a familiar car before that caught her eye. "Great Emily you're losing your mind" she said in a low whisper. The car pulled up to number 6 but no one got out of the car to pump. Emily didn't pay attention to it but had a bad feeling that they were just watching her who ever it was.
When Emily went in to go pay for the gas she got a cup of coffee to keep her awake while she was driving. When she came out the person in the car was just barely opening the door to get into their car though it didn't look like they got gas at all. "Weird", Emily thought but got back in her car and started driving away.
Emily felt free driving away from her father and sister and wondered when they would notice her escape. She thought of that afternoon when she was 9 and ran away from home to go to the bookstore to get fairy tale books of happy ever afters. She got lost and it took 4 hours to find her way back home. When she returned home her sister looked at her now wrinkled shirt and her messy hair and took a picture and posted it online. She laughed at me telling me that I looked horrible and that I should be ashamed of how I looked. They never really found out that I snuck out of the house. If anything I was sure that they did noticed but didn't care and were happy that I left.
Emily took a sip of her coffee and spelt it on her jeans. She pulled over real quick to look for some napkins. She opened the glove box and dug through it until she found some. When she removed the napkins from its place she found an old worn out box. She grabbed the box and cleaned herself up, then she carefully opened the box and looked inside. She gasped at what she saw.
