Lesson #3

Chapter 3
2 potential outcomes- singular immediate effect, or effect that occurs over a period of time with the potential to change

Former is known as a static spell and latter is known as a dynamic spell

Static has immediate effect and does not change when cast. No extended concentration needed. Once spell is cast, required concentration is done. It is the easiest way to break away from traditional forms of spell casting

Dynamic spells require stronger sense of concentration since it is a longer spell. Either a continuous flow of willpower and concentration or effects that can be changed in the middle of casting. If you lose concentration even a mom3ent, the spell will dissipate

Some spells can fall under both categories

Each spell uses magical energy and if you use too much, you will suffer from magical exhaustion

Dynamic spells will draw on your energy as long as the spell is in effect

If experiencing symptoms of exhaustion, remove any objects that can’t be repaired, and stop casting immediately

You are prone to accidental magic and you will feel warn down
