We don’t really know much about the background of these characters, so we thought it would be cool to list some of the more obscure, unknown characters. (Some of them we know well, such as Crabbe and Goyle, but do we really know their backstory?)

The Ranking of DADA Professors of the Past (from best to worst)

Here is a list of the DADA professors from best to worst!

Remus Lupin:
Lupin is obviously the best DADA professor of all because he has a creative teaching method( let the students practice on Boggarts and so on) and is loved by readers from all over the world.

Severus Snape:
Well, Snape isn't much of a Lupin kind of professor but he is said to be" the bravest man I have ever met" by Harry Potter so he deserves second in ranking.

Gilderoy Lockhart:
Lockhart tested students about himself (like his favorite color) so he isn't what we'd call great but he is still better than the following four…

Mad-Eye Moody/Barty Crouch Jr.:
Even though it was actually Crouch Jr., he showed the class the Unforgivable Spells and is considered pretty good until his true identity was revealed. So he might be an okay professor but not a great man.

Amycus Carrow:
Dolores Umbridge:
These two professors are all described as"cruel" so they should be somewhere near last in this ranking. They both tortured students and didn’t teach them any good.

Quirinus Quirrell:
Quirrel is the worst professor of all since he has Voldemort on the back of his head and didn’t teach anything!

Well, that’s it! A list of the DADA professors from best to worst! (This is just my opinion!) Do you agree with us? Or do you think some of the professors deserved a worse or better ranking???

Now, one last thing before you leave. I have recently authored a book called PLEASE HELP THE HOGWARTS DAILY NEWS, and I am glad some people answered the call, but I want to make sure we will still move forward, so I am going to paste that book here (please do not hate on me, I am just concerned about the HDN moving on)

Hi, I am Celeste Evergreen, a member of the Hogwarts Daily News. I just wanted to make this book because I have noticed that the HDN is falling a little bit. We don't have the issue for tomorrow done, and no one seems to be writing any articles. I am not trying to hate on the HDN, I am a member and I am just concerned that we are falling behind a bit.

So, with that in mind, if you would like to either

- be part of a team
- help out a group that is in need of help
- write articles and quizzes
- be committed to a group
- make some friends on HiH,

or, all of the above, then we would appreciate it so much if you joined either the Hogwarts Daily News Internship, or The official Hogwarts Daily News Team. We need members that are going to be committed and organized so that the HDN will not fall apart.

Right now the HDN seems to be a bit disorganized (again, not hating), no one is writing articles, they say they will but I don't see any articles. So, this is also for members that are already in the HDN or the HDN internship. To those of you who are already in the HDN: we need you to help more than ever, because if you don't we won't have any articles to publish this week, or the next, or the next, and the HDN will fall, so this is a call for help, to those that want to help, and to those that are already on the HDN.

Please answer this call for help! The HDN needs your help, and I am trying to carry the team, but the HDN is a team, so we need to all work together, or we will be lost and the HDN will fall. Please help!

P.P.S. Also, this is just MY opinion that the HDN needs help, not everyone on the HDN's opinion, but I really think something needs to be done about this, so that is why I am writing this.
