Chapter 2
Finally the day came when Gaby left for her first day of school. She nearly ran to school in her excitement. As soon as she got there, she walked into the office, ready to claim her class schedule. She got all of the classes she wanted!
She walked to her first period and sat down at the desk with her name on it. She waited impatiently for class to begin. The bell rang just as the door opened for one more student... the girl from Walmart? Gaby stared at her as she walked to the desk next to her own.
"Hi!" the girl said with a smile when she saw Gaby.
"Hi." Gaby answered, trying not to let her nerves get the best of her.
"I'm sorry, I never got your name," the girl said.
"Gaby. Gaby Hawethorne. What's yours?"
"I'm Zoe Grant. It's nice to officially meet you." The girl smiled.
"Nice to officially meet you, too," Gaby returned, trying to look calm. The girl she stared at and saw the memories of at Walmart was in her class, and her name was Zoe. They had the rest if their classes together, too. Great.
