Luna and Ginny have had many adventures but are not particularly "close" close, But when Ginny keeps on sticking up for Luna will their relationship grow? Or will it fall and stick to being friends?

Chapter 2: The Sorting.
Chapter 2
As they where both waiting in the queue, they saw each other on separate sides of the hall. Ginny waved to Luna and Luna waved back. "Lovegood, Luna !" The sorting hat yelled. After a while it put Luna in Ravenclaw, and after that soon after was Ginny's turn.
Ginny was quite sad because she knew that she had no chance of going into Ravenclaw with Luna, when her whole family is in Gryffindor.
Soon it was Ginny's turn and as she knew, she was sorted into Gryffindor. Luna looked over from the Ravenclaws table and smiled sadly, as she knew that their friendship wasn't going to go much further.
~The Next Day~
Ginny looked at her table and sighed. There was only going to be a lesson a day with the Ravenclaws. "Oh well" She thought to herself, "At least I get to see her everyday!"
~In lessons~
Ginny was going to her charms lesson when a boy bumped into her. It was Neville Longbottom.
"Hello! Please can you show me the way to the charms classroom, I'm new so I get lost easily" Said Ginny.
"Su-Sur-Sure" Said Neville. he gets nervous really easily and isn't used to people liking him on first impression. "My name is Neville by the way" he said as he was taking her to the charms class.
"Thanks my name is- Oh here's Luna!" She said as Luna was waiting at the door for her.
"Ready to go, Ginny?" Said Luna.
"Woah, shes pretty." Neville mumbled under his breath, hoping that no one had heard him.
"Yeah I'm ready Luna. Bye Neville!" She said, knowing by the look on his face that he fancied Luna.
"Bye Ginny, and, err, bye Lu-Luna" He said nervously
"Good-bye Neville, it was nice meeting you!"
