Luna and Ginny have had many adventures but are not particularly "close" close, But when Ginny keeps on sticking up for Luna will their relationship grow? Or will it fall and stick to being friends?

Chapter 1: The train
Chapter 1
~On The Hogwarts Express~
Ginny was walking around when she saw an empty carriage with only one person in it. At the time she thought oh she wont mind if I sit here, will she? But then something changed about the way Ginny looked at Luna.
Ginny realised that Luna wasn't like any other girl that she had met before, she was different. So different that in a way Ginny liked her for that.
~Later on the train~
After the sweet trolley came around, Ginny finally had plucked up the courage to talk to Luna.
"Ok, I can do this" She thought to herself and asked Luna what was her name.
"Oh, My name is Luna Lovegood, but most people call me Loony". Ginny had to fight not to laugh at her nickname. "Loony," she thought. "What a funny name"
"Soo, Loon- I mean Luna, why are you wearing radish earrings? And why are you wearing such strange glasses?"
"Oh, I'm wearing radish earrings to stop the nargles coming towards me, and these aren't strange glasses, they came in the quibbler!"
"The Quibbler?" Ginny asked.
"Yes," said Luna "My father is the editor of the magazine and it is a really good one to!"
~Off the Train~
"Well its nice to meet you- Oh, I dont know your name!" Exclaimed Luna
"My name is Ginny, and it is nice to meet you to."
