Three Broomsticks
Chapter 4
Ginny was beyond excited. The third – years were going to Hogsmeade, and everyone loved trips to Hogsmeade. It was just so much fun. After spending hours with her friends, Ginny escaped off to the Three Broomsticks. She needed to spend time by herself. Searching for an empty, she noticed only one person sat alone: Luna.
Luna was wearing her usual radish earrings and butterbeer cork necklace. She was also wearing some weird type of spectacles. She didn’t have an friends, as everyone thought she was too weird, believing in Nargles and Crumpled Horn Snorkack.Luna and her father believe that such creatures were alive and they went searching for them in summer.
‘’Hi Luna. How are you?”’ Ginny placed her Butterbeer on the table. Luna looked up and smiled. ‘’Good. How are you?’’ Ginny said the same and told Luna about how her day was.
Ginny was quite the opposite of Luna. She was popular, as she was good in Quidditch and really pretty. Luna was beautiful as well, but since she was very weird, everyone ignore her or teased her. Aside from being pretty and popular, Ginny was bold and fierce, whereas Luna was dreamy and kind.
‘’Do you have a date for the Yule Ball?” Ginny asked suddenly. She had been asked by a couple boys, but she rejected. They just asked because she was beautiful, and she wanted to go with someone who liked her for she was inside. Suddenly she thought about something, something no one would do.
Luna shook her head. She didn’t like dancing a lot and didn’t care about not having a date. Luna asked Ginny whether she had a date and she replied the same. A comfortable silence fell between as the two girls’ minds wandered off.
