Chapter 1
Jack Rotterdam, son of a muggle and pureblood, was the happiest person ever. Or so he thought. Even though his mother was disowned by her family, his aunts kept in touch with him. He was in his 4th year at Hogwarts, one his mother said would be amazing. It was true, as he was class first, got a girlfriend, got selected for Quidditch. He was happy............Until it struck.
It was a normal day. Jack woke up, changed to his robes, picked up his quills and parchment, and headed to the Great Hall. It was only until get entered the hall that he remembered it was Halloween. He gave himself a wide smile, and slid into the Ravenclaw table. He grabbed a mouthful of pumpkin pasties and stuffed them in his mouth, closing his eyes in delight. He checked his timetable, and the happiness faded from his face. Instead of a box full of subjects and times, there was a note, and a mark below it. " The 17, beware. Blood is coming to Hogwarts, and it wont stop with them. The prophecy marking your end is to be fulfilled.", he mumbled under his breath, and stared at the strange symbol. A line in the middle, a circle below it, and a triangle enclosing them both. His eyes widened as he understood which symbol it was, " Grindelwald." " Well, more precisely, the Deathly Hallows.", came a low voice from beside him, causing Jack to jump in the air. A girl was sitting in the once empty seat, her periwinkle eyes shining. Jack felt something strange while he stared at her neatly straightened Blonde hair. He shook his head and grabbed his bag, standing up. " Thank you for the piece of advice, m'lady.", he said with a chuckle, and walked out of the hall.
