Jennie
Chapter 4
It was a really long day. First, I got detention for texting in class. I wasn't even texting, I just took out my phone and she yelled ''Jennie, not again! Detention for a week''. Did I go to detention? Of course not! Sitting in a room with the people you hate and are like you, with a lady who keeps watching you, and not having any necessities, like phone or junk food.
That sounded a lot more like prison, didn't it? Hmm......
The highlight of the day was that Amanda hosted a party in her house. Her house is more like a castle, but it's not as amazing as mine.
Everyone loves Amanda. She's sweet and cute with long, flowing black hair and twinkling eyes like Dumbledore. Ever since I told my step sister about him, she's being trying to act like him. Spoiler: She sucks at it.
And no, having a step sister doesn't mean you have a life like Cinderella. That story is really terrible, I don't know how so many people like it. Why wait for a prince to come rescue you in his horse when you can ride wherever you want in a car?
My dad always says I'm misssing the point and it's that if you're kind and compassionate, then you'll have an incredible life one day. It's not all about having a prince come rescue you. I agreed that it makes a little sense, but only because my dad is the only one I quite like. He's a nice person and he keeps telling me that he loves me. So I guess that's nice.
The other thing that makes my story a little bit like Cinderella is that my mom is dead. She died a few months after I was born, so I don't know about her a lot. My step mother rarely comes home, since she and my dad are always working.
It doesn't matter much that they're always gone. I have friends and tv shows to entertain me. And a crazy little stepsister who keeps talking about - OH MY GOSH, STOP, STOP - NOOOOO!!!!!!!
