Melody is what you would call 'a goody two - shoes'. But life is unkind to her , as she had been in the hospital her entire life. When she was 13, she and her brother got in a dreadful accident. Her brother died, and Melody fell into a coma for 6 years. Jennie is what you would call 'a spoiled girl'. She is rich, cruel and mean. And life is extremely kind to her. She has everything one would dream of. Her hair isn't big, but she has many secrets. One terrible night, when Jennie is returning from a party, she hits a girl who has just woke up from a coma - Melody. When these two girl's paths cross, will they be together forever, or go in their seperate ways?

Harsha isn't in the same school as I am: Elm wood High school. Pretty weird name, if you ask me. Elm wood. Is there a type of wood like that?

''Will you stop singing?'' Colin was overjoyed that I was awake, and he started to sing. The guy loves romantic songs. I hate them. I don't like music at all. What's so good about it?
''Honey, it's time to go!" Finally! I was getting tired of staying inside the house. So boring. I don't get introverted people. What's so fun about staying inside and staring at the same walls again and again? Besides, fresh air does you a lot of good.
Elm wood high school is very noisy. Absolutely perfect! I'm starting to love this place a lot. Nice people, noisy people - Woah!
''Watch where you're going!'' That voice sounds so familiar. I look up to see the very same person who hit me yesterday.
