Chapter 1
Weather
The Atlantic now has three active hurricanes. On Wednesday afternoon, Tropical Storm Katia, which formed in the Gulf of Mexico, was officially upgraded to a hurricane as 75 mph sustained winds were measured. Katia joins Jose as a newly minted hurricane, and the two are active at the same time as Irma, a Category 5 storm currently plowing through the Greater Antilles and tracking to make landfall in either Florida or the Carolinas. These will affect many muggles it is our job to protect them from a distance. Reparo is a good spell for these troubling times.

What if the characters from Percy Jackson went to Hogwarts?
Percy: Gryffindor.
Annabeth: Ravenclaw. I mean, she’s super smart; but then, so is Hermione, and she was sorted into Gryffindor. But I still think she’s more likely to be put in Ravenclaw.
Hazel: She would be a hatstall between Hufflepuff and Gryffindor.
Frank: Hufflepuff for the win. Frank is, like, a big, friendly, Chinese-Canadian, shape-shifting teddy bear. (Did anyone else catch the HP reference? Teddy Lupin? Shape-shifter? Anyone?)
Piper: She can charm-speak. That’s kind of like Parseltongue, isn’t it? So, Slytherin. I never liked her very much anyway.
Leo: Okay, this dude literally sacrificed himself for his friends. Gryffindor to the core.
Jason: Ugh, I hate this. He’s so obviously a Gryffindor, but I do not like him at all. Sorry, Jason fans. I want to put him in Slytherin so bad.
Nico: Hufflepuff. Yeah, most people would probably say Slytherin; but Nico’s so sweet. Think about how much he cared about Bianca.
Reyna: Gryffindor. She’s a freaking warrior.
Grover: Gryffindor.
Chiron: He always seemed so much like Dumbledore to me. And Dumbledore’s house was . . . Gryffindor.
Mr. D: He’s insanely smart, but also kinda mean… sometimes. He reminds of Snape, just less noble. Slytherin.
Thalia: A hatstall between Gryffindor and Hufflepuff, like Hazel.
Clarisse: This might be controversial—Gryffindor. But wait, remember her whole Selena charge? She’s definitely defensive of those she cares about.
Rachel: Gryffindor.
Ella: She memorizes the library. Only a Ravenclaw would do such a thing. Octavian: Okay, do I even have to say this one? Slytherin, for obvious reasons. Coach Hedge: Gryffindor.
