"Yes?" Malfoy asked after shooting a warning look at the other Slytherins. "What is it?" Luna smiled and titled her head slightly to the left, studying him to make sure no Moon Frogs were in his ears. "I just wanted to say thank you." Luna said smiling, she started to play with her Butter Beer cap necklace that her dad had given her for her birthday last year. 'To keep away the Nargels.' Malfoy looked startled but Pansy on the other hand looked ready to kill. "For... what?" Malfoy asked (it was clear he was uncomfortable). "For helping me of course." Luna said dreamily and started to walk away. Malfoy stopped her and Luna gave him a mildly curious look. "What did I help you with?" Malfoy asked with the same face as Luna. But without the long hair and wide eyes. "Well," Luna said smiling. "you stopped Snape-" "Professor Snape." Pansy said in a hurry, but stepped back when Malfoy glared at her. "from taking points from me." Luna continued pretending Pansy hadn't spoken. "It's not really important..." Malfoy mumbled awkwardly. "Yes, but the Nargels have already stolen so many so Ravenclaw can't afforded to lose anymore." Luna said nodding, with a small smile on her face. "Oh," Malfoy said, smirking now. "so the Nargels stole points from you?"
Luna nodded again and Pansy crossed her arms, pouting. "Draky," Pansy whined. "Were going to be late to class!" Malfoy rolled his eyes. "When did you start caring about classes Pansy?" and he turned back to Luna. "Would you like to... come with us? To class?" Malfoy asked a bit uncertainly. Luna thought for a second, wondering if it was a trap but said yes after a minute. Malfoy grinned and started walking. "Come WITH us?" Pansy screeched madly. "Why would LOONY come with us? She's loony!" Luna walked up to Malfoy acting as if she hadn't heard Pansy but Malfoy had spun around, glaring at Pansy with such force even Luna was a bit frightened. Pansy took a step back as Malfoy took his wand out of his robe pocket. "Alartay Asenderay!" he shouted sending Pansy into the air landing on a 5th year Hufflepuff. Everyone was staring, but Luna was used to that so she ignored them. Malfoy muttered something like "Let's go, Loo-Luna." as he left the hall. Luna followed to the Charms classroom. Luna was smiling hugely as she sat next to Draco Malfoy, the boy who stood up for her.
