"What a horraible thing to do!" Luna whispered. She was sitting alone at her cauldren. They (the class) was supposed to be brewing The Drought of Living Death. "Unneed." Luna muttered. "The Dilldergibets will steal it and the whole world will be put to sleep! Everyone know they want to take over!" Luna sighed. She sumaned a pot and veils, brushing off some earth on her robes from Herbology Luna put the dirt in the pot.
"What on earth do you think you're doing?" Luna heard this, looked up, and saw Snape. "Oh hello Professor!" Luna said brightly. Her attitude had improved during the past ten minutes. "How are you?" Snape sneered at Luna and pointed to the veils which were full of water and had... flowers in them? "Tell me," Snape whispered (the whole class was watching now hoping to see 'Loony' get in trouble.) "what is this?" Luna just smiled and said happily "Well sir, the potion had bad energy so I-" Snape cut her off. "Bad energy?" "Yes Professor, very bad energy, so I decided to give you some flowers! Unfortunately they do attract Umgubular Slashkilters." Luna nodded gravely but then smiled again. "Pretty aren't they?" Snape glared at her and started to say "Ten points from Ravenclaw." but Draco smirked and nodded. "They're called Narcissus, yes?" Luna sat up straighter and nodded back, smiling.
The bell rang shortly after that. Luna was excited because one, Snape hadn't taken many points. Many, not none, but only three! And Malfoy had stood up for her! Well... did that count? Luna wasn't sure, she'd never had anyone do it for her so she didn't really know what it was like.... speaking of witch Malfoy was a bit ahead of her. "I'll go say thanks." Luna said to herself. "Who are you talking to Loony?" A random brown haired boy asked Luna, with a couple others behind him laughing. "You invisalbe friend? No one wants to be friends with you Loony! Loony Lovegood!" the boys walked off, snorting. Luna didn't mind them, they didn't know what she was doing so it didn't really matter if they didn't understand. Luna half skipped half walked to Malfoy. When she got there Malfoy raised an eyebrow and Pansy glared at her. "Hello." Luna said waving at Malfoy while trying to ignore the wind spirits (who were trying to stand in front of Malfoy without making it clear they were doing it).
