The Weekend
Chapter 3
Today is Saturday and we found out that the new Quidditch Captain is Beatrix Weasley. She is one of the three Chasers. Besides Zac and Alicia Bell. Beatrix called try-outs to be on Sunday. Since Zac, Lizzy, and I are already on the team, we don't have to go to try-outs.
We go to the library for some time alone. The table in the back of the library is perfect for whisper conversations. We talk about school work and how hard its going to be. Especially with Quidditch practices and matches. Zac and I decide to show Lizzy our Special Place. She thinks its as amazing as I did.
All three of us sit on the shore and Lizzy tells me a secret. She asks me this, "You know who Albus Potter is right?" "Yeah. Professor Potter's son," I answer. "He kinda likes you," Lizzy tells me. "What?" I say surprised. I thought he liked Rose! "Yeah! He told me during Charms when Professor wasn't listening!" she informed me.
I sneaked a look at Zac and saw that he looked upset and nervous. So I said to Lizzy, hoping he would hear, "I don't like Albus! I like Zac!" I took another look at him and saw him beam back at me. He took my hand and we talked about what grades we thought we got on the History of Magic Essay.
Eventually, we got bored and went back to the common room. We grabbed our brooms and went to the pitch for some flying. We flew until we got hungry, so to the Great Hall we went. The dinner was amazing and dessert was even better.
Lizzy and I practiced our Charms homework a little more, then went to bed. My dream was awful. I dreamed that Albus asked me out right in front of Zac. So Zac punched him. Then he got expelled for punching. It was terrible. Because after he left the school, I did start going out with Albus.
I woke up and didn't tell anyone what I dreamed. I went down to breakfast and then went to the pitch with Lizzy and Zac to watch try-outs. There was this one boy trying out for Keeper who was really good. He didn't miss a single save! Another boy trying out for Keeper, could barely stay on his broom for 10 seconds.
The Beater position was harder because every person who tried out for that spot, was really good. But only one person was better than Lizzy, so that's who got the spot. We were satisfyed with try-outs so we left for the common room. Lizzy decided to go read in the library so Zac and I stayed in the common room getting to better know each other.
By the time Lizzy got back, I found out that Zac is the oldest of 3 children and his dad works in Diagon Alley. He found out that my mom is the Minister of Magic and I am an only child. We went down to dinner soon after and ate 'til we were full.
My dream that night was much better than last night. I dreamed that my bank never ran out of galleons so I just kept buying cool stuff over and over and over again!
