For some odd reason, Jennica was next to Professor Twilight, whispering and pointing at Celestia. She immediately turned to look at her. She strutted towards her.
“I have heard some disturbing but unconvincing news, Miss Mellowfarm,” she said sternly.
Celestia resisted a gulp.
“Please turn out your pockets.”
Celestia’s eyes widened and Phoenix gave a nervous, audible gasp. She looked at Jennica who was behind Professor Twilight, and her face was uglier as she wore an evil smile. Celestia had to control her temptation to go round and slap that smile off her face.
“I am not a patient woman. Please, turn out your pockets. Now!”
Slowly, and dreading it, Shen turned out her pockets.
Akko wasn’t there!
Relief swept over her face, the warmth around her ears fell.
“Thank you,” she turned around face-to-face with Jennica. “Please do not lose more points for your house before the term has even started! I have never met such a disgraced student! These attempts to discredit your classmates is simply disgusting! I shall report to the Headmaster for this,” she said curtly.
Jennica’s face was so red! Celestia looked at Phoenix and he too was smiling.
