Black Lives Matter
This year has been quite scary and confusing, not just being in the middle of a life changing pandemic, but seeing the changes in the world. Just a few days ago George Foryd was killed by being choked to death by Officer Derek Chauvin. I’ll get into it a little more but right now just remember, black lives matter.
George Ford's Death/cause-
30, May 2020,
George Foryd had the cops called upon him for “supposedly” paying for something with fake money. He was resisting arrest and was kneed in the neck. George had told Officer Derek Chauvin he couldn’t breath but was ignored and killed. The policeman Derek Chauvin, age forty- four has been charged with third degree murder, and second degree manslaughter. He was also accused for ignoring the two other officers' comments on the scene that was happening before their eyes.
Protesting-
Right now all around there have been huge riots and protesters. Just in Utah only 762.6 miles away they had a protest that turned into a riot, which ended in a police car flipped over and set on fire. Also right here in Oregon, just in Portland they had set a curfew, from eight pm to eight am. For me on May 30, 2020, I could hear explosions and police cars all through the night. I could hear the police telling people to go home or they’d be arrested. Scary times these are scary times indeed.
