Chapter 3
It's finally my release day! I was excited. But then...
Emery and me were walking down the halls, peacefully going to Transfiguration, but when we were about to pass the DADA classroom, a group of Slytherins starting mumbling under their breath. I couldn't hear their full conversation, but I caught a few words, 'She's the reason they have detention', and things like ' I NEED revenge, we all do' they were saying things similar to that. "You need to watch out, my friend," said Emery. I smirked. The more people we passed, the more gossip we heard. 'Did you hear?' 'Some fifth year Slytherins' I saw Jacob, he was alone we went to talk to him.
"Hey Jake! What's wrong?"' I asked his head was down.
Jake explained: the older kids in his common room were saying things like, 'If Hagrid wasn't there, we could've done so much more', and things like, ' I would've loved the sound of her crying home to her mommy' Jake stud up for me. His friends left him for being friends with a Gryffindor and standing up for her.
