Chapter 2
Kenzie awoke to her blankets floating in mid-air. 'What? How?' Kenzie questioned herself. Surely it was just her eyes playing tricks on her right? Kenzie shrugged as she hopped outta bed and got dressed. Today her hair was in pigtails and she had a striped shirt on underneath her lavender overalls. She ran downstairs. "Mum, where is Platform nine and three quarters?" She asked.
"Platform nine and three quarters? What's that?" Nicole asked. Kenzie looked disappointed, Hogwarts must be fake then.
"It says i have to go there to get to Hogwarts." Kenzie said.
"We'll figure something out, bean. Now come eat." Nicole said, pushing a plate of toast and eggs towards her.
"Ok." Kenzie said, grabbing the plate and eating it.
Later that day, Kenzie was looking out her window so confused about Hogwarts still when she saw a small tabby cat with round spectacle markings by the eyes. Kenzie ran outside to it. "Hi kitty." She said, slowly approaching the cat which, before her eyes, turned into a human!
"Hello Ms. Maxwell." The old lady said.
"Who are you?" Kenzie questioned, astonished by what had happened.
"How rude of me, i'm Professor Mcgonagall of Hogwarts." The old lady replied. Kenzie took note of her British accent.
"Hogwarts is real then?" Kenzie asked.
"As real as you and me." Professor Mcgonagall replied.
"How do i get all this stuff, professor?" Kenzie asked, showing her list to Mcgonagall.
"Come with me, gather your belongings and then come with me." Mcgonagall said. Kenzie nodded and ran into the house, packing her stuff and saying goodbye to her parents
"Where do we go now, professor?" Kenzie questioned.
"Grab my arm, my dear, and i shall show you." Mcgonagall said. Kenzie nodded, and grabbed Mcgonagall's arm and they Apperated (though Kenzie didn't know the word) to Diagon Alley. "We shall stay here until tommorow, where you will get your stuff." Mcgonagall explained. Kenzie nodded and fell asleep immediately.
