I open the door to the dormitory to see Remus sitting on his bed looking nervous. I said,
"come on you little wolf! let's go have fun!" and I grabbed his arm and marched him from the dorm. we went to meet with James and Peter in the common room, then proceeded to the 3rd floor. when we entered the room, we were heated with shouts and cheers. the marauders were famous at parties.

I forced Remus to the drinks and downed a whole bottle of butterbeer, and had a cup of firewhiskey. I pressed the firewhisky to Remus who looked at me and said,
"no." and he put the bottle down. I knew there was no forcing him, so I grabbed him again and we walked to the corner where a group of students was playing a muggle game.


"its called 'spin the bottle'" I heard one student say, "all you do is spin the butterbeer bottle, and whoever it lands on. you have to kiss." I thought this sounded fun, so I forced Remus into to the seat next to me.
"This does not sound like fun," he said.
"calm down! you're just scared. it'll be fun!" he gave me a look, but sat up. James went first and landed on Marlene. they both cringed, and James leaned forward and gave her a peck. his lips barely brushed her cheek. then Lilly landed on dalton, who she kissed full on the lips, making everyone laugh. then it was my turn. I span the bottle and to my surprise, it landed back on me. no. it wasn't just on me, it was slightly to the left of me. it landed on Remus. he blushed a deep scarlet, which surprised me. I hesitated for a moment, then everyone in the circle started chanting,
"KISS HIM! KISS HIM! KISS HIM!" so I did. I pulled his face to mine and he pressed his lips to mine. to my surprise, it felt so right. I don't know why, but right then in that corner of the classroom. I felt so happy to kiss my best friend, Remus Lupin.
