It Isn't all 'Roses'
Chapter 2
"Miss Nymphadora? You can go. Your test results have come," the healer said, gently attempting to wake her up.
"I will take her," the man said, standing up. He took tonks lightly in his arms and disapparated to her house, holding her close to him. He appeared at the front door of her house. The man brought her inside and laid her on the couch. He then waited. Soon she started to stir.
Tonks opened her eyes. Her eyes fell on the man who smiled.
"Thanks." She said. Remus smiled again.
"No problem," he said. Tonks sat up and Remus sat down on the couch. She looked up at him and he did something neither of them expected. He kissed her. Then Remus broke away quickly.
"I need to go," He said, not looking at Tonks.
"Remus wait." He stopped dead in his tracks. "I love you, Remus."
"No Dora. I could hurt you. I cant."
He turned on his heel and walked out, disapparating once he got to the gate. Tonks collapsed, tears running down her face. Remus sat outside his house wondering if he did the right thing.
