Percy Jackson
Chapter 2
This book series is superb following young teenager Percy through many mysteries. I don't want to say too much but in the story, Percy Jackson is portrayed as a demigod, the son of the mortal Sally Jackson and the Greek god Poseidon. He has ADHD and dyslexia, allegedly because he is hardwired to read Ancient Greek and has inborn "battlefield reflexes". Percy's birthday is August 18. I would give this series a 9.1/10 as it was really good and also helped me learn loads about greek mythology. Percy goes on many quests to save his home. You may also like Rick Riordan's other books as well! A book series called 'heroes of olympus' follows on from this book.
The first 3 books are made into films whch are very different to the books. I personally didn't like them much as the book were more action-packed.
