Olivia Snyde and the Cursed Elements (In progress)
written by Kathe Clawitter
Olivia Snyde is a muggleborn witch (she is NOT a relative to Merula Snyde!). But when she arrives in Hogwarts everyone thinks that Merula Snyde is her sister and she takes the muggleborn status only to spy in Hogwarts. Of course this isn't true, but nobody believes her, exept a pure-blood girl named Emma Ambre. They become friends, but the two girls will not meet in Hogwarts this year anymore...

The journey to Hogwarts
Chapter 3
It was already 3 p.m., but Olivia couldn't sleep. She was nervous and exited. What if she won't find friends? What if she is actually not a witch and everything was a mistake? No, it can't be! Eventually she fell asleep. Her dreams were full of wands, weird robes and owls. Something began to ring. She woke up. Her phone rang. The display showed 'Carly'. "Hi Carly, what's up? It is 5 a.m.!" Olivia dressed up while talking to her. Carly was Olivias best friend, they were friends from the beginning of school. Olivia forgot her new phone home on the first day and Carly let her play in her phone. "I was just exited to see you today at school. We have a new math teacher, you know! No, I'm serious! We don't have Mr Purgin anymore. I'm so happy!" Olivia was too. They talked and talked, until mum came in. "I have to end now, I'll call you in five minutes, okay?" Olivia stood up. "What did you come to say?" She asked her mum. "I just reminded you, that you'll drive to King's Cross in three hours!" Olivia was confused. "Why do we drive to King's Cross? My school is not in London, it is only five streets away!" She took her phone, there was a message from Carly: 'Call me!' Olivia replied fast: 'Just a few seconds!' Her mum waited until Olivia put her phone back on the table, and started talking. "You are going to Hogwarts, you forgot? Remember the letter you got, and your wand and the owl?" Olivia remembered now. She was really happy. How could she forget? She couldn't even sleep because of that! "I'll leave you packing, remember to be in dad's car at 10 o'clock!" Mum left the room and Olivia called Carly again. "Hi, why you had to stop?" Carly asked. "Mum wanted to talk about, ummm, the school uniform" She said something random. She wasn't allowed to tell her the truth, wasn't she? Hogwarts, oh no! She wont go to the same school with Carly, maybe she will never see her! She was so sad. How she never thought about it? "Our school doesn't have a uniform, you forgot?" Carly's voice sounded angry. "You don't pay attention to me! What is wrong with you? Oh, it is almost eight o'clock, see you in school!" The call ended. Olivia was almost crying. "I don't want to go to Hogwarts" She whispered. A tear rolled down her cheek. And then another one. And another. And another. She cried. She cried because she missed her BFF. She cried because she wanted to go to Hogwarts and she cried because she didn't want to. It was almost 10 o'clock. She wiped away the tears and started packing.
Olivia arrived at King's Cross. Dad brought her there to. All the way in the car she tried to hide that she cried. That succeeded, or dad just acted like he didn't notice. Anyways, she was there! All sadness was gone, when she saw many wizard families walking around everywhere. She knew they were wizards, because they had these school trunks just like her. Olivia walked to the wall, where the platform had to be. She ran to the wall. -What if I am not a witch- themed scary thoughts came in her mind. -It is too late to stop and I don't know where the breaks are-themed answers came into her mind. She was confident in her decision. She ran through the wall, she did it!
The whole platform was full of steam and students, the train was about to start. Inside the train was a lot of noise. Olivia went to a random seat and started looking at her school books. They were quite interesting and different from the school books she had in her old school in the muggle world. Muggle world, oh no, Carly! What will she think when she sees the empty seat? She will be mad, of course. And confused, sad, upset, scared... "Let's not think about it," she muttered "I can think about it later. I'll better enjoy the adventure!" A small and shy blonde-haired boy, probably a new student like her, asked Olivias name. "Olivia. Olivia Snyde," Olivia told him. "Why you asked?" The boy turned white in his face. He took his trunk and left the room. The tiny boy looked scared. Why? She wasn't famous, she was just a muggleborn. Nobody knows her, right? It didn't seem so, because the other students were staring at her. Some of them started whispering. Some of the students started changing their clothes to the robes.
A old woman with a trolley came and asked if anyone wanted anything sweet, but Olivia didn't notice her. She went to another wagon and sat there to. There nobody knew her name and she could read the books in silence without everyone looking at her.
