written by Kathe Clawitter
Olivia Snyde is a muggleborn witch (she is NOT a relative to Merula Snyde!). But when she arrives in Hogwarts everyone thinks that Merula Snyde is her sister and she takes the muggleborn status only to spy in Hogwarts. Of course this isn't true, but nobody believes her, exept a pure-blood girl named Emma Ambre. They become friends, but the two girls will not meet in Hogwarts this year anymore...

All muggleborns, follow me!
Chapter 2
It was finally the 10th of August, the day she will meet a real witch or wizard, the day she will understand what is it like to be a witch and most importantly, she can find out what Hogwarts is! Olivia was very-very excited, the most excited she has been in her whole life. "Come on, let's go or you will be late!" His father yelled. "Here we go," Olivia said and stepped into the car. They drove to London. Olivia had never been to London. Everything looked so different there. "When does it end?" Dad asked suddenly. "Oh, I don't know, but I'll call you when it's over." She answered. "Okay, by the way, we are there. See you!" Her dad kissed her on the cheek and drove away.
Olivia walked to the station. There were many people inside, loads of people. Olivia started to feel a little bit scared. Not that she would be scared of being alone there, no she was scared that she won't find the professor. She looked around, but there were really too many people to distinguish a professor from them. Five minutes left... Four minutes... A train drove away. There were not many people anymore, only a few families were saying goodbye to their relatives. And there she saw a woman with at least 12 children around her. "This can't be a family," Olivia thought. There were too many children and they were too different. It has to be a professor! "I have never seen a professor, but I always thought they were old. This woman there is not old...What do I know about professors- nothing? Even if she is not a professor, I'm sure she will know something about the 'magical world'. " She walked to the woman. Should I ask her about Hogwarts or not, Olivia asked in her mind. "Am I here right, I was asked to meet with a professor from Hogwarts here." The words have already slipped out of her mouth before she even thought about them. "Yes, you are right here miss..." The woman said. "Snyde" Olivia continued. She looked at the woman. It wore an olive-green suit and a beautiful golden necklace Olivia has seen in a shopping centre. The professor had ginger hair, freckles and glasses. She looked pretty young, maximum 40 years old. "All muggle-borns, follow me!" the professor said.
"Everyone, listen. My name is Nicola Stillwell, you can call me Professor Stillwell. I will be your Muggle-studies teacher in the third year, though Muggle-studies is just an optional class. Today I will show you the Diagon Alley and the Platform 9 and 3/4. These will be the most important magical places in your student's life, except Hogwarts of course. First I show you the platform 9 and 3/4. It is right here in King's Cross. You just have to run into the wall between the platforms 9 and 10. Easy, right?" All the kids looked very confused. "Run through the wall...What do you mean?" A girl with almost black hair and huge glasses asked. Her voice sounded like the girl would be very mean. Or did Olivia just imagine it? "Magic, you know. You just run to the wall and don't stop until you went through it." The teachers response brought her back from her dreams. "Now, follow me. We will step on the Knight bus!" They walked out of the train station and went to the street. They saw a weird double-decker bus arriving in front of them. "Hello, we are from the Hogwarts muggle-born course. Can we step in?" The professor asked politely. "Come in, come in, welcome to the Knight Bus!" A man, probably the bus driver said. "Hold on tight!" The professor warned, "The trip will be fast and uncomfortable." Professor Stillwell said the last part of the sentence so silently, that the bus driver didn't hear that.
"Here we are, the Leaky cauldron is right here," The bus driver told them. "Good, all students follow me!" Stillwell said. They got off the bus. "Look, here is the Leaky Cauldron. It is a pub, which is invisible to Muggles. Oh. I forgot to tell you who muggles are. They are non-magical people, like your parents. That means, your parents would not see the pub here. But you see it, everyone who sees the pub, step in!" Everyone stepped in. The pub was really messy, dirty and quite small. "After me!" Stillwell said loudly. The students followed her to a small dirty room with no windows. The teacher took out a wooden stick and tapped the bricks. Three up and two across. Then something magical happened. The bricks moved and a corridor appeared! "This is the entrance to the Diagon Alley. Here you will get all the things you'll need in Hogwarts. Take out your quills, sorry, pens and notebooks or parchment or paper or whatever you can write on. I'll tell you where you can buy your wand and books and robes and pets and whatever you need. You can buy your wand from Ollivander's and your robes from Madam Malkin's Robes For All Occasions and your owls from Eeylops Owl Emporium, your quills from Amanuensis Quills, your school books from Flourish and Blotts, your cauldrons from Potage's Cauldron Shop, ah come and ask me if you don't find anything. There are so much more shops, where you can buy everything you need. You can look in all the shops but don't buy a broom, first-years are not allowed to have your own broomstick. First we go together to Gringott's and then everyone can look around by herself and buy everything you need." They walked into Gringott's and changed their muggle money into Galleons and Sickles and Knuts.
After that, everyone had to find the school supplies. "A wand, I'll get that from Ollivander's" Read Olivia. She tried to find a shop named Ollivander's. There it was! She stepped in. It was a dusty little shop with many shelves full of tiny boxes. "Hello," a man said. "You want to buy your first wand, am I right?" Olivia turned around. "Yes." She said with a trembling voice. "Well, let's look at what I have for you...Try this one!" The man said. Olivia took the wooden stick from the box. "What do you mean, try?" "You just move it with your hand." "Like this?" She made a spiral with the stick. The books, what we’re on the table, began to burn. "Yes." The man said nervously while after he said 'Aguamenti!'. Water came out of his wand. "Wow!" Olivia was impressed. "Okay, try this one!" The man gave her another wooden stick - wand as she understood. She made a spiral again, and then there came golden sparkles out of the wand. "This wand should be yours, Alder wood with a unicorn hair core, 13 ½" and slightly springy flexibility." Olivia took her wand and gave him the money for the wand. She walked on the street and bought all the books and robes she needed, and a pet. An owl. She tried to give her a name. "Millie, no too ugly, Flowy- YES, this is perfect!" When she was done with the shopping Olivia called his dad. Dad took her back home.
