Chapter 8
(Authors note; this isn't Draco's P.O.V anymore) *Hermione and Pansy are back in the woods*
Hermione was holding a knife in one hand and Pansy's hand in the other. Scrapping a heart into the tree she wrote her initials. 'H.G' and handed the knife to Pansy who did the same. 'P.P' Hermione leaned in and kissed Pansy on the cheek and smiled to herself as she smelled Pansy, Ginger Snaps and Lavender. Pansy put her arm around Hermione and kissed the top of her head. They walked over to the small table in the middle of the clearing and sat down. Hermione made some tea with magic(Authors note; I know you can't make food in Harry Potter but...I made it happen.sorry). "What flavor?" Hermione asked Pansy. "Hmmm." Pansy teased. "How about...Granger? I heard it's the best of all of them" (That was terrible sorry) Hermione blushed and looked away. Her eyes widened. "Pansy?" She asked uncertainty. "Did you, um, see that?" "See what?" Pansy asked, slightly disappointed. "That!" Hermione pointed to a small dent in the ground. "Someones sitting there!" Pansy stood up, walked over to the dent and kicked over it. "OUCH!" a blonde haired boy fell out of Harry's invisibility cloak. "Malfoy." Hermione hissed, most unlike her usual self. Draco blushed and stuttered. "I wasn't- I didn't do- I-I'm not..." Hermione walked over and said annoyed. "Just /shut up/ already!" "I-I will..." Draco trialed off turning a dark red. Hermione picked up the cloak and asked. "So you /were/ the one who took Harry's cloak?" "You stole Potter's cloak?" Pansy asked glaring, she wasn't mad about Draco stealing but more that Hermione was upset. "I...um...I...I did..." Draco didn't know what to say and his palms were clearly sweaty although he was trying to hide it. Hermione walked up and slapped him across the face. She wasn't that /mad/ at him per say but just wanted to hurt him. For taking the cloak, for spying on her and Pansy, for liking her. Ok so that last one wasn't a very good reason and Hermione knew it but still. Pansy took Hermione's hand and they left, leaving Draco tearful (but not crying totally not crying) and holding his face.
*in Hermione's common room*
"I can't belive he was spying on us!" Pansy yelled. "Me not us." Hermione said not looking up from her book. "I told you he stalks me.
