A kneazle is a cat-like creature related to the Felis catus. They have unusually large ears, a slightly plumed lion-like tail and a speckled, flecked or spotted coat. They are slightly varied in appearance because they have separate breeds, and have a very high level of intelligence. If they take a liking to a witch or wizard they make an excellent pet. Kneazles are very independent and often aggressive. The ministry of magic classified them as XXX due to their aggressiveness to some. They are also classified beast.
