Chapter 1: How It All Begun
Chapter 1
I sat at my desk, sighing. "Evan! Get your lazy $#@%! down here!." That man shouting? That's my father. If you were wondering, I'm Evan. My life isn't so well..as you can see...I'm 15. My mother died two years ago, but I'm still messed up about it...
February 8th 2007 (Two years ago)
"Are you sure you'll be okay, mom?." Young Evan asked. His mother smiled. "I'll be just fine, Evan..Don't you worry too much..mummy will be back in no time." She had crouched down and gave her son a tight, but otherwise, gentle hug. That's that I thought. That night was the worst of my life. The phone rang. My father went to answer it. I put my ear to the door, wanting to listen. "Hello? Is this David Visor?" My father replied, "Yes, this is David Visor. Who is this?" A long pause. "Your wife...ah...had an accident and died in a car accident.." Came the reply, after the long pause. I heard my father slam the phone down and cried. I ran in, to my father. "Dad, what's going on?" I knew he wouldn't answer. That day was the day I'd never forget. I hated these four words. My. Mother. Was. Gone. I cried that night, crying so hard that I couldn't go anywhere....
