Chapter 5
During breakfist in the Great Hall Ron and Hermione were fighting about something stupid again but all I could think about was Malfoy. Do I really like him? 'No' I thought. 'No no no that's not true.' 'Then why did you smell his cologne in the love potion?' another part of me was arguing with me and trying to 'tell me the truth' about myself but 'I know all about myself thank you.' 'Do you though?' "yes." I muttered. "yes I do." When I said 'I do' I thought of a WEDDING! With MALFOY standing next to me! "no no no no!" I said loudly. "What Harry?" Hermione asked. "I-er" I was cut of by Malfoy walking to me. My face turned red and my palms got sweaty. 'I hope he doesn't notice that would make my look so stupid.' I already look stupid my hair's a mess. I tried to flatten my hair when Ron said. "Ugh why is that git coming over?" "Harry WHAT are you doing?" Hermione asked glaring at me flating my hair(witch was failing it just wouldn't stay in place.) "I'm not doing anything!" I said but my voice was getting higher the closer Drac- 'no his name is Malfoy'
MALFOY was coming closer now and my hand went up to my hair again. "Harry!" Hermione said in my ear. "What?!" I yelped. "Great now you made me look like an idiot-" "Hello Potter." Malfoy said calmly though his face was a little pink. "I- '' My face was bright red and I couldn't talk. 'What the f*** Was Malfoy doing to me? I can't talk when I'm near him or anything!' "I'm going to the library." Hermione said a small grin on her face. I wanted to yell 'what! Don't leave me!' But I still couldn't speak. "Well Potter?" Malfoy asked blushing a deeper shade of pink. "Do you want to go for a quick walk before class?"
'yes!' But I didn't say it out loud. "I-'' not talking(because I couldn't) I got up and stood next to him. Ron looked mad but I ignored him. Malfoy was a little taller than me but that didn't matter. I looked into his eyes and blushed more. My eyes unwillingly went down to his thin lips. "Potter." I looked up horrified at what I had done. "er-I" Malfoy took my hand after we had left the hall. I was breathing fast but didn't pull away, his soft fingers felt amazing. My heart beat went back to normal and my breath wasn't panicky anymore.
