Life lesson #8

Chapter 8
‘’Laura! Hey, wait up!’’ What was her problem? I had saved her from major embarrassment. Is being honest a huge crime? ‘’What do you want?’’ People don’t appreciate good humans. They’re very rare. And everyone ignores them ‘’Why are you ignoring me? What did I do?’’ She rolled her eyes and walked off. Whatever. One day I’ll be famous and she’ll be regretting her decision.
Maths class was invented to slowly kill people. What is the use of Maths when you have phones? And calculators ? We are just wasting our time. ‘’So, who knows the answer ?’’ Not me, not me .. ‘’Evelyn ? What about you?’’ Why ?? I looked at the problem. What was the answer ? This is why you should pay attention in class
‘’Detention. Next time, pay attention in class’’ Not today !! I had to meet Isabelle in the café today . It’s not like solving this whatever-it-is-called is useful . I hate Maths . Argh !!!!
‘’So, you won’t be coming?’’ She sounded so disappointed ‘’No, sorry’’ Sighing loudly, she cut the call. Great. Now two girls are upset with me. When I become famous, I’m going to command all schools to not give detention. Everyone would worship me.
~One hour later~
Pick up, pick up! Why was she so mad at me? It wasn’t my fault that I got detention. Well, actually it was, but she had to understand!
The walk home was so quiet. Since I met Isabelle I was always talking to her. Now it felt so lonely and weird. Maybe I’ll invite Laura over. You idiot, she’s mad at you Oh yeah, forgot about that. I called Isabelle again. ‘’Hello?’’ It wasn’t Isabelle ‘’Um.. Is Isabelle there? This is her friend?’’ Maybe she went out and forgot her phone. There was a long pause in which it sounded like the person was crying. ‘’She-She’s not there. She’s gone’’
