Chapter 3
‘’I can pay for you’’. What? Is she an angel? ‘’Really? Thank you so much!’’. I can’t believe this. I’m not getting arrested! Woohoo!!
After Isabelle paid for me, we went out of the café. Her umbrella was big enough for me to stay dry. It was really, really cold. ‘’Thank you so much. You saved me from getting arrested’’. She chuckled. ‘’It’s fine. Wait, what is your name?’’ she asked. You forgot to say your name. Your name. You have truly proved yourself as the most foolish person. ‘’It’s Evelyn’’. Why is it so cold? Maybe we should drink hot chocolate. And then head for home. Do you have a brain? You don’t have your wallet!
Oh, yeah, I forgot that. Maybe I am losing my brain cells. ‘’So, do you go to high school?’’ she asks. ‘’Yeah. You?’’ ‘’Same’’
We finally reached my house. ‘’Thanks a lot again’’. I should probably buy her pizza. Good people deserve pizza. ‘’No problem. Meet me in the café tomorrow’’ she said, and then took off. ‘Sure! I’ll forget-I mean, I’ll bring my wallet!’’
