Running Away

Chapter 6
Nobody speaks to me. I'm all alone. Lilly doesn't talk to me. Ginny doesn't. Even Draco won't now. I tried to sneak into the Slytherin common room on my first night but I got caught and sent to the Gryffindor one. I'm sick of it. I'm fed up. I'm going back to France. Now.
I grab my satchel and hurry out of my horrid red and gold common room. I run to the Great Hall where I remember a fire being. It glistens under the fake stars and the flames dance. If this were a book, which it ain't, I'd look into the flames, see my reflection and realise I could change into a better person. As it stands, it's not a book. I clutch my satchel to my chest, taking out my stash of floo powder.
"93 Ha-" I start, dropping in my powder. I see Lilly run forwards. "What are you doing here? 93 Hagadan Pl- Lilly!"
I feel a tug as Lilly and I hurl through the fireplace. We don't end up at home. Lilly saw to that. I see an office. It's filled with all sorts of delicate objects. In annoyance, I realise we're still at Hogwarts.
There, looking down at me as I lie on the floor, is a man. A man with a long beard and twinkling blue eyes.
"Ah," he says with a smile. "I see, you've found, like others before you, that the floo network in this school always leads back to my office."
I all but growl at him.
"I want to go home."
"By all means," he says. "Portus."
One of his objects glows purple and I hold onto it. I feel comfort again as I hold onto it, knowing that soon, I'll be home.
