I recently a quired a baby griffin named Ala. if anyone wants to keep up with how Ala is doing, and learn about Griffins, I will be posting daily on her health and personality! this is the first griffin I have had in many years, so it will be interesting to see how this goes! once Ala is full-grown, we hope to be able to release her into the wild. keep up on my daily griffin log by adding this book to your bookshelf!

a sleepless night, (day 1)
Chapter 1
so actually this is day 2 since I got her yesterday, but this is day 1 of the blog so well call t day 1 for simplicity reasons.
A baby Griffin is so cute. about the size of a kneazle, it's flight feathers haven't come in yet, so its front half is just grey fuzz. Ala is really needy. she can't be without me for more than a minute before she starts making loud, high pitched chirping noises. I got her an enclosure, but she keeps escaping. I was going to put some charms on the enclosure so she couldn't jump out, but then she would start screaming again, and I could just use Silencio to stop her noises, but its honestly more trouble than its worth. but I did have work to be done, so I ended up sitting at my desk with Ala sleeping on my lap. everything was totally fine until it was time to go to sleep.
like I said before, Ala can't be without me for more than a minute. so the only way we were going to be able to sleep was with her sleeping on me. her head was on my shoulder, but I couldn't get into a coumfterble position. every time I shifted, I would wake her up, and she wouldn't go back to sleep for another half an hour. I don't think i got any sleep last night. il write again tomorrow.
