Gillyweed
Chapter 8
M.o.M Classification: XXX
Gillyweed is a rare plant to track down, but after some careful research I knew just place to look for it in the wild. After trekking my way to the Mediterranean Sea, I put on a pair of flood pants and boots, and begun to walk along the sea's edge, sometimes in it and sometimes out of it. Eventually, I approached a forest growing right alongside the shore. As I entered the shady area, I noticed a number of slimy herbs growing close together. They were each around 6 inches tall and examining the herb it looked like it might be Gillyweed. I bit into it to see if what my research said was true and sure enough I slowly began to grow gills. Due to this, I immediately dove into the sea so I could breathe.
As I held my head underneath the water, I felt significantly more refreshed and nourished. I opened my eyes I could see small pieces of Gillyweed floating in the water and guessed that after many years the spot had naturally turned into Gillywater. Once when this effect wore off, I picked some for further study as well as collecting some dirt, and with Acidious Revealious seeing that the PH of the soil was 8.1 or mildly alkaline.
