Puking Pastilles, and Anger.
Chapter 7
Janie, Eve (A new best friend of ours.) Brandon, Anah and I were walking down to our first Transfiguration class. It was going to be a disaster, I didn't finish my Transfiguration book, Janie didn't even bother to pick it up! The only people that seemed even remotely excited were Eve and Anah. Brandon was staring off into space and when I asked “What’s up with you?” he didn’t respond. “The person he faced turned him down.” Anah filled me in. Even though he was pretending not to hear anything Brandon glared at Anah, still not speaking. Eve laughed. “Already? You’re only in first year!” Eve was a year older then us so we didn’t get to see much of her, but it was always… eventful… when we did. She is a true Gryffindor, a prankster, let's leave it at that. She honestly reminded me of the two Weasley twins Fred and George who had dyed all the Sylitherin robes red and gold when they were being washed. Last time we hung out with Eve she turned Janie's food into slugs. It was awesome, and Janie laughed too so Eve had no revenge being planned. "See you later!" Anah called as Eve walked to her Charms class. "Bye." I waved. "I've got something planned for the Dungan Bat, so don't worry about your next Potions class guys!" and she walked into the classroom. "What is it?!" Janie called, much more excited than I wanted. "Janie." I scolded. "she could get Gryffindor in loads of trouble." "Relax Brody!" Anah said exasperated as Janie rolled her eyes. "You WORRY too much!" Janie said. "Come on guys." I said pretending I hadn't heard what they just said. "If we’re in the hallway, might as well get to class." I sighed. I didn't want to go to this class any more than they did, it was supposed to be the 'hardest one'! "Well I'm not going!" Janie said smugly. "Yes you are J-" I started looking around for Brandon, who had disappeared. "No she's not," Anah interrupted, pouting. "She got a Puking Pastille from Fred and George." "What?" I asked, I wanted one to! "How did you even pay for it?" I was suddenly suspicious. The twins were friends with Eve as well so we had gotten to know them better, but they had even more of a pranking reputation then Eve! "Are you SURE it's a Puking whatever?" I asked looking at the wrapper. "Yep!" Janie said, smiling. "Fred proved it! All you have to do is eat, or lick it works fast, the orange side then when the teacher lets you go to the hospital wing you eat the purple part and your safe to have a long free period!" "I thought it was eat the purple part first!" Anah said. "Are you SURE it's orange and the purple?" I asked, Anah was usually right and she had a great memory so I mostly listened to her when it came to things like this. "Stop worrying-ing" Janie said throwing her arms into the air. "I've got this! A free excuse to skip class!" "Skip class?" Came a posh voice behind us. "You better not do THAT. Gryffindor will lose so many house points! They'll be in the last place!" I turned slowly to face Draco Malfoy. "Shut up Malfoy." Janie hissed. "Oh I forgot, you're already in last place." And he pointed to the hourglasses that showed the house points, where Gryffindor had the least amount of points. "Tut, tut. That's not good is it? To bad Potter was after hours!" Draco drawled on as he hadn't heard Janie. "Be quite Draco." I said, my eyes daring him to speak again. Draco's eyes widened. "What?" I sneered. "Nothing." Draco picked up his normal attitude fairly quickly for how shocked he looked. "Just keep your Mudblood friend out of my way." I froze. He said the 'M' word. Janie was turning red and tears were gathering in her eyes. There was something monster waking up in my chest. I wasn't upset. I was MAD. Madder I had ever felt in my life. My arm reacted before I could even tell what I was doing and I punched him in the face. Draco fell over winching. Laughing I kicked him out of the way and walked to class. Leaving his already bruised face behind.
