Chapter 6
"He'll be fine." I said trying not to sound to excited. "He's the Boy Who Lived." raising my voice at the last part knowing Draco was standing nearby and that this would annoy him. As Mcgonagall was stuttering to Harry I grinned. I don't rally know why but he was annoying and I didn't like him at all. "Never- in all my time at Hogwarts-" Professor Mcgonagall was almost speechless with shock, and her glasses flashed furiously, "-how DARE you- might have broken your neck-" "It wasn't his fault, Professor-" be quiet Miss Patil-" "But Malfoy-" "That's enough, Mr Weasely. Potter follow me now."
I wasn't sure why people were so worried that night. It's 'Harry Potter' 'the boy who lived' they can't just expel him. All he did was fly, come on! Draco was flying to and I did see HIM getting dragged off by a Professor! I tried to explain this to Janie but she would just get more nerves whenever I said Draco didn't get punished. "Janie!" I said exasperated. "Calm down already! He's going to be fine!" We were in the common room. Anah and Janie refused to leave until they were sure Harry was coming back. "How do YOU know?" Anah snapped. I sighed and gave up. Pulling out my Tranfiguration book I started to read; Whenever a witch or wizard first begins their journey through the mysterious art of Transfiguration, it is best to understand what, exactly is transpiring when you perform it. Transfiguration, at its core, is a genre - if you will - of spell-casting. It has its own spells and it takes years to master. Most likely, a Transfiguration professor at any magical institution will start off with simple tests and spells, to demonstrate the fundamentals of Transfiguration because it is a form of magic that is foreign to many beginners of Transfiguration. The reason for this, as I stated earlier, is that Transfiguration requires years to master, possesses its own slew of spells, and requires perfect technique. With this book, I hope to guide you in that general direction of perfect Transfiguration. How does Transfiguration work? With the right combination of concentration, spells, and wandwork, you will be able to transfigure anything into something else. But, looking deeper into the physical nature of Transfiguration, what is actually happening is a change of molecular structure. With proper form and spell, you are not simply changing one object to another temporarily. You are transfiguring its entire molecular structure into that of another. It is no wonder that Transfiguration takes many years to perfect!(book Tranfiguration is not my work)
A loud "ARG" made me look up. Janie was pacing again, glaring at everything in the room. "Why isn't he BACK YET?" she yelled and kicked the chess table knocking it over. "Did that help?" asked a new voice from the back of the room. "Eve!" Janie said, smiling now. "I didn't know you were still up! It's almost ten!" "Well it's a bit hard to fall asleep when people are yelling and knocking over tables." Eve grinned. She flipped her red hair off her shoulder(And no she isn't a Weasley) "Were waiting to see when Harry will get back." Anah jumped in. "YOU'RE waiting." I said warningly. "I'M trying to study. We have Transfiguration tomorrow. " :ARG!" Janie yelled again. "I HATE TRANSFIGURATION!" She was cut off by the portrait swinging open. Eve's bright blue eyes widened. "Harry?" Anah whispered. Professor McGonagall stepped into the common room. "What are you four doing up?" She snapped. "It is far too late! Get up to your dorms. Off you go now. NOW!" She looked sternly at Janie and Eve. They had been trying to hide behind the couch when McGonagall had been looking the other way. Janie sighed and went up to the girls dorms. I knew she was going to sneak out but I decided not to tell McGonagall that small fact. "Are you sure?" Anah asked. "Am I sure off what Miss Lee?" Professor McGonagall asked while raising to her full height. "Are you sure it's too late? You're still up so I'M sure it's not against the rules!" "Anah!" I hissed. We were going to get in so much trouble! "Five points from Gryffindor Miss Lee." McGonagall said strictly. "Now get in your dorms!"
